I have just completed the Bérenger Saunière Museum Virtual Tour, a multimedia website offering the visitor insights, documents and historical material related to the mystery linked to Dan Brown’s novel The Da Vinci Code.

It is based on texts by Antoine Captier, Christian Doumergue and me. The material collected comes from the collections of Corjan De Raaf, Patrick Mensior, Octonovo, Morgan Roussel, Paul Saussez and Marcus Williamson.

The virtual tour is available in English, French and Italian at the URL www.museebs.org

1885. Rennes-le-Château sees the arrival of its new parish priest: Father Bérenger Saunière. Within the space of a few years, he will change both the face and the fortunes of the small village. His lavish restorations and above all his own ambitious building projects, rapidly lead to speculation as to the origins of the funds necessary for such large-scale works. The rumour spreads that he has discovered some sort of treasure. The Bérenger Saunière Museum presents its village, its history and its legend!
