Short ironic news item: "the author or the father" of the Femme invisible throws down the gauntlet to the authors of the letter published by the Clef du cabinet des souverains, who thought they had discovered the method of the invisibility and treated it as charlatanry. Citizen Laurent calls them "to combat" on 9 ventôse, when the show ("if it is true that there is a show where there is nothing to look at") will take place in the presence of a police commissioner and an official report will be drawn up; the journalist concludes that Laurent leaves no other resource than the miracle.
