Letter from Doctor Laurent, dated Paris 7 ventôse year VIII, replying to the letter on the invisible woman published the same day by the Clef du cabinet des souverains (signed Villemeureux and Auvray). Without discussing their explanations, Laurent invites the two signatories to come on 9 ventôse to the "spectacle de l'Invisibilité", rue Germain-l'Auxerrois no. 40, where, in the presence of a police commissioner, an official report will be drawn up certifying that none of the means they supposed is used to produce the phenomenon.
