Two passages. In the letter "Au rédacteur du Courrier des spectacles", signed "L....", brother of the owner of the show of the invisible person (rue des Prêtres-Germain-l'Auxerrois no. 40), the two signatories of the letter published by the paper on 6 ventôse are invited to come on the 9th at nine in the morning, with papers proving their identity, to ascertain that they have not discovered the secret; an official report of the examination will be drawn up. On p. 3 an advertisement describes the "Coffre de verre blanc, très-transparent", hung from the ceiling by four thin chains away from the walls, with a horn through which the invisible person is questioned; she breathes, blows on the spectators' hands, tells the colour of their clothes and the objects presented; open from 1 to 5 p.m., price 1 franc 50 centimes, room in the place et cloître Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois, near the staircase leading to rue des Prêtres, on the second floor.
