Review of the vaudeville La Dame invisible, performed the previous day at the Théâtre Montansier: the reviewer remarks that the invisible lady, the subject of many people's conversation and curiosity, could have provided the basis for a pretty plot, but the author made little of it and the comedy, cold and disjointed like every «pièce à tiroirs», had almost no success. Its best feature is the role of the celebrated teacher of the deaf and dumb, the abbé Sicard, who comes to examine the curious discovery in person. An encored couplet is quoted, in which a poet addresses the «directeur de l'Invisibilité» and the director of the Fantasmagoria. Full transcription and Italian translation.
