Notice signed Laurent (Doctor Laurent) against an illustrated booklet announcing la femme invisible et son secret découvert: Laurent challenges the author to come on 4 floréal at 8 in the morning to place Dauphine no. 31, first floor, where the show has been exhibited for twelve days, to prove to him before witnesses that none of the means he proposed is used, and recalls the astonishment of the «great men» of the capital who declared the mystery impenetrable. The show can be seen from 1 to 6 pm, at the unchanged price of 1 franc 50 centimes. Laurent further announces that in the new hall of the «fille invisible» the means used to imitate it at the cour des Capucines (Robertson), on the quays and at Paphos will be unveiled, and states that he has learned that the Paphos imitation is the work of the booklet's author, and perhaps also the one on the quays. Full transcription and Italian translation.
