Public notice by R. Charles (Charles Rouy) for his "Salon de physique acoustique et mécanique" in the passage de Longueville, at the Carrousel, devoted to invisibility and to speech given to a figure isolated from all communication. Charles ascribes to jealousy a notice signed Denis, printed in the papers of 16 and 17 prairial, whose author claimed he could reproduce the salon's effects by the means he described; he invites him to come on the 18th at two in the afternoon, before public officials and scholars, to have his error established. For the occasion the salon will be open to the public free of charge from 2 to 3; afterwards the experiments will resume at 1 franc 50 centimes per person. The supplement also carries the daily advertisement of Robertson's Phantasmagoria at the Capucins, with the experiment of the Femme invisible. Full transcription and Italian translation.
