Final rejoinder by Auvray to the reply of R. Charles (Charles Rouy) (referring to the issues of 22 Prairial and 2 Messidor). He argues that the alleged discovery comes two thousand years too late in teaching that pagan priests made idols speak by means of hidden acoustic horns; that it is not an "invisibility of the human body" but a way of hiding a body in a place from which it speaks and sees without being seen. He mocks Charles's syntax ("the floor does not exist and the barrier rests on the floor"), says he knows the commissioner Chazot, that he saw none of the savants named, nor the physicist Charles of the Louvre, and reports that a neighbour asked the Invisible "Mademoiselle, avez-vous déjà z-aimé?".
