Letter to the editors in the «Mélanges» section, signed J. B. Denis and Benoit, «physicien», reporting a visit to the show entitled Découverte de l'invisibilité du corps humain. Instead of seeing a person vanish, the authors find a case of white glass, insulated and hung from four small iron chains, from a round opening in whose side a very fresh voice comes out; the warmth of the chest and the breath of the «invisible person» strike perceptibly the faces of those who question it. They conclude that the secret of this physical experiment is unknown and that all that has been said about it so far can only be conjecture. Full transcription and Italian translation.
