Fantasmagorie de Robertson — Avis
Journal de Paris, Paris 21 march 1800, pp. 893-894.
1 volume available
In the «Spectacles» column for 30 ventôse an VIII, the advertisement for Robertson's Fantasmagoria (cour des Capucines, place Vendôme) promises, besides apparitions of ghosts, illusions, ventriloquist, harmonica and physics experiments, «l'expérience de la Femme invisible», every day at 6.30 pm. A separate notice denies the rumours, inserted «by ill-wishers» in some newspapers, that the Dame invisible had left: the experiment continues at rue des Prêtres-Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois no. 40, from 1 to 4 pm, until a more suitable venue, now being prepared, is ready.
