Letter signed G. D. L. R. praising the physicist Robertson ("Robert-Son"): it mentions the phantasmagoria and the Femme invisible, whose varied and witty answers amuse even those baffled by the trick; nobody has yet guessed the means of this "acoustic phenomenon", to which Robertson himself says he attaches so little importance that he blushes to owe part of his audience to such a puerility. The letter then describes the experiments on the different kinds of air (inflammable air, gas fireworks). On the same page follows the daily advertisement of Robertson's Phantasmagoria at the court of the Capucins, place Vendôme, with the experiment of the Femme invisible.
